Configure the list of anesthetic units for use in the Case Management module.

Anesthetic Units Window

The Anesthetic Units window allows you to manage the units available for when tracking anesthetics in the Case Management module.

Field Description
Unit

A text field that indicates the unit of measurement.
Inactive A check box that, when selected, indicates the unit is inactive and not in use.
Is a percentage (no Anesthetic Totals)

A check box that, when selected, indicates the unit is delivered as a percentage.

Example: '%' for Nitrous Oxide.

Is unit per kg

A check box that, when selected, indicates the unit is measured per kg weight of the patient.

Example: mcg/kg/min

Is a continuous flow

A drop-down list that indicates whether the unit is delivered as a continuous liquid or gas.

Example: ml/min
Task Procedure
Add Anesthetic Units
  1. Click the Clear Data () icon.
  2. Complete the fields as necessary and click the Add a new Record () icon.
Edit Anesthetic Units
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Make any necessary changes and click the Modify Record () icon.
Reorder Anesthetic Units
  1. Select a listed entry.
  2. Click the Up and Down buttons to move the selected entry within the list.
Delete Anesthetic Units
  1. Select a listed entry and click the Delete Record () icon.
  2. When prompted, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Preview/Print Report
  1. (Optional) To preview the Anesthetic Units report, click the Preview Report () icon.
  2. To print the Anesthetic Units report, click the Print Report () icon.

    3. Note: The Anesthetic Units report uses the anesunit.rpt file.
